We're working with an exciting and fast-growing specialist business that focuses on the maintenance, restoration, and improvement of classic and iconic vehicles. This is a rare opportunity to join early and make a genuine impact as the workshop continues to develop.

Our client is looking for a talented vehicle technician who is passionate about performance cards and enjoys the challenge of varied, hands-on work. You'll be involved in a broad range of mechanical operations and will have the freedom to help shape how the workshop evolves.

The Role

You'll carry out diverse mechanical tasks spanning servicing, repair, fault-finding, and light restoration.
This position suits someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes real pride in craftsmanship — there is no requirement for panel or paint work.

Key Responsibilities

* Mechanical repair, service, and restoration of classic vehicles

* Engine strip, rebuild, tuning, and diagnosis

* Drivetrain and suspension upgrade, and set-up

* Carburettor and ignition tuning

* Sympathetic electrical repair and fault-finding

* Routine servicing and road testing

* Working collaboratively within a small, skilled team

Ideal Candidate

* Experienced working on performance vehicles and engine rebuilding

* Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical systems

* Confident working to high craftsmanship standards

* passionate about automotive history and traditional engineering

* Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable within a developing workshop

* Good communication skills and comfortable working in a customer-focused environment
