BMS Project Manager

Birmingham

Salary up to £60,000

We are working on behalf of a well-established client to recruit an experienced BMS Project Manager to join their growing team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of high-value BMS projects across the West Midlands, with occasional travel further afield (fully expensed).

The successful candidate will manage projects from post-quotation stage through to final handover, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage BMS projects through design, installation, commissioning, and handover

* Take full ownership of projects valued up to £1M

* Produce and manage project documentation including technical submittals, drawings, O&M manuals, and reports

* Ensure quality and design standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle

* Plan, coordinate, and monitor project programmes to achieve milestones

* Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting

* Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams

* Support and coordinate installation and commissioning engineers

* Lead and mentor a small team of project engineers

Requirements

* Proven experience delivering BMS projects from design to completion

* Strong technical background in BMS engineering and/or project management

* Experience with one or more of the following systems: Trend, Tridium, Delta, Cylon (ABB), Distech

* Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability

* CSCS Card (or equivalent)

* Full UK Driving Licence
