I am working with a client within the Oil Industry that are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our finance department as Reporting Analyst. The role of the Reporting Analyst is primarily to assist with the statutory financial and management reporting requirements of the group.

Duties:

• Assist with year-end IFRS statutory financial reporting preparation, including disclosures for 28+ Group entities
• Support the Group consolidation monthly for MI purposes and annually for statutory reporting purposes
• Involvement in the year-end audit process, including managing deliverables and responding to Auditor queries
• Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle
• Support key stakeholders in understanding their cost base
• Identify and implement process improvements within the Group Reporting function
• Other ad-hoc finance related duties

Requirements:

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 3+ years relevant experience
• Strong system skills including advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel required
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines, often with competing priorities, and adapt to business needs
• Interest in process improvement
• Oil industry experience would be an advantage
• Excellent time management/organisational and multi-tasking skills
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable in approach
