Experienced Welder Fabricator

Client Overview:

Our client, a leading provider of custom fabrication solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Welder Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in welding and fabrication. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and experienced professional ready to take on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality fabrication projects and play a key role in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks across various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for precise fabrication

Ensure welds and fabrications meet safety standards and quality control expectations

Operate and maintain welding machinery and fabrication tools, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and plasma cutters

Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet strength and durability requirements

Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues efficiently

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace

Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines

Skills & Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes

Experience with metalworking machinery such as grinders, plasma cutters, and saws

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

High attention to detail with a commitment to producing top-quality work

Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills

Certification in welding (preferred but not essential)

Safety-conscious with knowledge of welding/fabrication safety standards
