Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to step into a senior role where you can influence design, lead projects, and shape the future of sustainable building services

We're partnering with a respected engineering consultancy known for delivering innovative, technically excellent solutions across commercial, residential, healthcare, education and complex specialist projects. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic Building Services team in London.

The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:

Lead mechanical design on a range of building services projects from concept to completion

Produce detailed mechanical designs, calculations and specifications

Oversee project delivery, ensuring technical excellence and meeting client expectations

Mentor and support junior engineers

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions

Attend client meetings, design workshops, and site visits

Drive sustainable design strategies and low-carbon engineering solutions

About You

You will be a strong fit if you have:

Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering

Chartered or working toward Chartership (CEng) with CIBSE/IMechE

Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, heating, ventilation, LTHW, etc.)

Experience using design tools such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit or similar

Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients

A proactive, collaborative approach and passion for high-quality engineering
