We are seeking a proactive and reliable Legal Cashier to join our client's established law firm in the city on a permanent basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations within the firm, helping us maintain high standards of compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing client and office account transactions in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Reconciling bank statements and client ledgers
• Managing receipts, payments, and transfers across various accounts
• Assisting with VAT returns and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Providing financial support to the legal teams and responding to financial queries
• Preparing and maintaining financial records for audits

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar financial role within a law firm
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and legal cashiering procedures
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in using legal accounting software
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a team-player mentality
