A well-established architectural practice in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to support the delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes. This is a senior-level role within a growing technical team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects from post-planning through to construction while working closely with developers, consultants and internal design teams.

Key Responsibilities* Production of detailed technical and construction drawing packages* Coordination with consultants and external stakeholders* Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements* Technical delivery of projects across RIBA stages 4-6* Supporting and mentoring junior team members* Liaising directly with clients and project teams

Requirements* Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or similar* Significant experience within a UK architectural practice* Strong background in residential projects, ideally developer-led schemes* Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations* Proficiency in AutoCAD * Strong technical detailing and problem-solving skills* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
