Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract dates: long term with the opportunity of a permanent contract.

A lovely, small ASD school in Merton, are looking to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants to support across KS1 & KS2.

About the school

Individually devised programme based
The role would include:

Supporting pupils throughout the school day
Behaviour/learning support
Holding 1:1 or small group sessions
Aiding with the set up and set down of the classroom
Maintaining high levels of health and safety with the pupils
Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class

As a successful candidate you MUST have:

SEN support experience whether through care work, paid work, placement, volunteering, or personal experience
Availability Full Time - 8:30am-3:45pm Monday to Friday
Experience using resources such as PECS, Makaton or TEACCH is highly desirable but not essential
