The Life Insurance Relationship Manager will provide internal and external support for life settlement sales activities. Joining our team of other experienced life settlement professionals, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operations support, as well as implement advanced case design support to multiple internal teams, advisors and clients to drive the sale of life insurance policies in the life settlement market.
§ Work with advisors, their staff, and clients on cases in conjunction with a dedicated sales team member for advanced case design consultation.
§ Monitor case progress, track requirements, and provide ongoing status updates
§ Maintain broad knowledge of life insurance product landscape as it pertains to products and carrier illustrations to provide training, assistance and promotion of available services
§ Assist advisors and clients in navigating the breadth of services available to meet sophisticated clients’ needs
§ Responsible for proactive outreach to firms with ideas and training to help expedite the transaction process and enhance the firms’ relationship and experience with Ashar Group
§ Review application paperwork and collate in designated order in preparation for data entry
§ Identify any factors that could present an obstacle to the transaction, and if necessary, present alternative solutions
§ Miscellaneous administrative tasks, such as scanning, copying, imaging, and printing as deemed necessary
§ Limited data entry, as needed
§ Educate yourself on the latest industry developments and, in turn, educate advisors on those subjects to help create new business opportunities
§ Continuously look for ways to expedite and improve our process and services
§ A self-motivated team member, looking for an innovative environment where impact of efforts can be immediately seen and where few obstacles exist to being able to apply skills and talents
§ Ability to handle fluctuating workloads by prioritizing demands for time; strong organizational and planning skills, along with a heightened sense of urgency
§ Comfortable conducting analysis of life insurance products and underwriting results
§ Highly responsive and proactive with advisors and clients
§ Willing to take initiative, exhibit creative thinking and take ownership of cases/projects
§ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where some standardization exists
§ Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
§ Five or more years of experience in the life insurance industry, or similar industry; advanced markets, case design
§ Track record of maintaining a high level of accuracy, enthusiasm and dependability, and demonstrate a strong interest in providing exceptional customer support.
§ Demonstrated ability to maneuver within multiple database systems (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WebEx, etc.)
§ Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications
§ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact successfully with a variety of personalities
§ Bachelor’s degree preferred
§ Genuine enjoyment of working with advisors, their staff and clients
