A long standing, successful business based in Woking is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team. You'll play a key role in supporting the day to day finance operations, covering both purchase and sales ledger activities, and helping maintain smooth transactional processes across the department.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
Updating the bank daily and performing bank reconciliations
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Running bi-weekly payment runs
Reconciling company credit cards
Sending customer statements and email reminders
Uploading and tracking customer remittances
Performing credit limit checks on customers
Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Prior experience in a similar finance with both purchase and sales ledger responsibilities
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable communicating internally and externally
Team-oriented with a positive, can-do
