Bar Manager - Events Venue (Weddings & Private Events)

Profiles Personnel are recruiting a Bar Manager for the Silchester, a beautiful countryside events venue hosting weddings, private celebrations and corporate events for up to 150 guests.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead the bar operation, manage stock and staff, and deliver excellent guest experiences across a varied events calendar.

Please note: The job is in a rural location, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bar service across weddings and events
• Train and supervise bar staff (including coffee & cocktail service)
• Manage stock ordering, stock takes and cost control
• Maintain high service standards and guest engagement
• Drive upselling and bar profitability
• Ensure licensing, health & safety and hygiene compliance
• Maintain clean, organised bar and cellar areas

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years hospitality experience
• Personal Licence holder - essential
• Full UK driving licence - essential (rural location)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Passion for great service and events
