Supersede Recruitment are proud to be supporting our client - a well-established food manufacturer and part of a larger, highly respected group - in their search for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving production performance across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working on a range of high-speed processing and packaging equipment, you'll ensure maximum uptime, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

You'll be responsible for:

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Reactive breakdown response and fault finding

* Electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs

* Continuous improvement and reliability projects

* Supporting production teams to minimise downtime

* Ensuring all work complies with food safety and engineering standards

About You

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You will ideally have:

* Multi-skilled capability (electrical bias preferred)

* Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)

* Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of PLCs and automated systems (desirable)

* A safety-first mindset
