What You'll Be Doing

* Leading and motivating a team of surveyors and repairs officers

* Making sure repairs are completed right — first time, on time

* Driving performance across staff and contractors

* Investigating complex building issues (drainage, defects, asbestos, etc.)

* Managing budgets, authorising works and maintaining controls

* Improving customer experience and solving problems quickly

* Using data to influence future investment and maintenance programmes

* Collaborating across teams to keep standards high

What You Bring

* Degree‑level qualification in a construction‑related field

* 10+ years' experience in building maintenance/repairs

* Strong knowledge of building construction and defects

* Experience managing technical teams in reactive maintenance

* Understanding of CDM, asbestos legislation, and building regs

* A proactive, solutions‑focused leadership style
