The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to oversee company secretarial compliance for a varied client base. This role offers direct client interaction, leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to contribute to best practices in corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all company secretarial functions for clients, ensuring compliance with legislation and corporate governance standards
- Maintain statutory registers and records
- Prepare and file statutory returns with the Companies Office
- Organize and attend board meetings, preparing agendas and minutes
- Advise clients on company secretarial best practices and regulatory updates
- Liaise with Companies Office and external advisors
- Develop and implement company secretarial policies and procedures
- Provide training and support to clients and internal audit teams
- Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting company secretarial practices
Qualifications & Experience- ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) qualification (Part Qualified Considered)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a company secretarial role
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Relate Company Secretarial software, Microsoft Office, and Core
