Learning Support Worker Maths - Temporary - 25 to 30 hours pw - Broxbourne and Ware - £15.21 per hour

We are recruiting a temporary Learning Support Worker to support students in GCSE and Functional Skills in Maths to work at Hertford Regional College, cross campus (Broxbourne and Ware). They will help to deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at their state-of-the-art facilities in Broxbourne and Ware.

About The Role

We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about enabling learners with identified learning differences to access the college environment, to include academic support, pastoral support and communication for learners to realise their potential. The focus will be to support learners in Functional Skills and GCSE classes in Maths, Monday to Friday, term time only. The hourly rate of pay is £15.21, and an average working week is between 25 and 30 hours.

About You

Successful candidates will possess experience of working in learning support, display excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for promoting independence for young people, a commitment to the well-being of all learners and a passion for constantly improving their learning experience. They will have GCSE Maths and/or English Grade 5 or above.
