Room Leader – Level 3 Early Years | £30,300 | 40 Hours Per Week, All Year Round

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to bring passion, creativity, and leadership to their thoughtfully designed nursery. This is more than just a childcare role – it’s a chance to shape young minds in a setting designed to spark imagination, with well-equipped rooms, a wide range of learning resources, and a beautiful garden for outdoor exploration. Working 40 hours a week, you’ll lead a dedicated team in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating space where every child can thrive.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
• Previous Room Leader experience in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to childcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the room team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
• Plan, deliver, and review engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are met at all times.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working culture.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to observations and assessments.
