What you'll be doing:
- Manage and supervise a team of seven direct reports and five employees in the wider responsibility, ensuring tasks are performed correctly and safely.
- Oversee customer account management, including growing accounts, handling issues/complaints, and supporting field sales staff with job assessments and work quotes, with strict adherence to response time KPIs.
- Take responsibility for departmental profit and loss management, including budget control and revenue oversight, while effectively managing inventory levels of drums, materials, and office assets.
- Oversee and maintain compliance with International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) regulations, ensuring high standards of waste segregation and packing procedures while keeping disposal site complaints to a minimum.
- Provide customer training on packaging techniques and waste regulations, and deliver presentations for customer tenders when required
- Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining strict service level agreements, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, efficient quote processing, and prompt collection scheduling to meet established business targets.
What we're looking for:
- Comprehensive knowledge of ADR regulations and waste management procedures, including relevant industry certifications
- Strong leadership and people management experience with proven ability to motivate and develop teams
- Experience in maintaining quality and compliance standards while meeting operational KPIs and service level agreements
