Are you a passionate Java Developer with expertise in reactive programming frameworks like Vert.x and Spring WebFlux? We're hiring for a leading global banking client based in London, working on cutting-edge digital transformation projects within their core banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and reactive frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust microservices architectures.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and ensure best practices in coding and testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Essential Skills

• Strong core Java development experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Vert.x and Spring WebFlux.
• Solid understanding of reactive programming principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to financial services or banking environments.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of performance tuning and monitoring tools.
