Security Systems Design Engineer

Location: Woolwich, London (4-5 days office-based)

Overview:

We are seeking a Security Systems Design Engineer to join a leading telecommunications contractor delivering projects across the rail sector. This role focuses on the design of integrated security and communication systems, supporting major infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop security system solutions including CCTV, Public Address (PA), Customer Information Systems (CIS), and PHP systems.

* Produce design documentation, drawings, and technical specifications.

* Work closely with project teams to ensure designs meet project and client requirements.

* Support the delivery of security and communications systems across railway infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

* Experience designing security or communications systems (CCTV, PA, CIS, PHP or similar).

* Strong technical documentation and design skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and project teams.

* Rail sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
