We are now recruiting for our well-established freight forwarding client a Senior Sea freight Imports Clerk based at Manchester Airport. Now due to expansion we are looking to add to the Freight Operations team at Manchester Airport a Senior Sea freight Imports professional.

Responsibilities

· You will be dealing with all aspects of ocean freights movement from start to finish doing FCL/LCL and some groupage loads.
· To complete customs entries and associated documents in a timely manner to ensure the smooth movement of consignments.
· You will be required to deal with all ocean import documentation.
· Liaise with hauliers and shipping lines to organise transportation
· Liaison with overseas agents with regards to the Bookings.

Person

* Experience of Sea Freight Imports with a good understanding of Ocean Imports, can hit the ground running
* Customs entries
* A strong team player capable of working as an individual or in a team environment
* Excellent Freight Forwarding Skills
