We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, working across a variety of commercial and public sector sites in and around Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical works
*
Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical systems, including HVAC, heating, and ventilation
*
Undertake installation and upgrade work as required
*
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations
*
Accurately complete all relevant documentation and job reports
*
Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations
Requirements
*
Recognised Mechanical or HVAC qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
*
Previous experience in a similar FM or building services role
*
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
*
Full UK driving licence (essential)
*
Knowledge of relevant compliance and safety procedures
