Reporting to the Purchasing Manager key responsibilities will include

* Raising of orders for key suppliers and ensuring the daily running of the procurement department.

* Management of a small team.

* Ensure all product is available for production as required.

* Leading supplier sourcing, assessment and negotiation to secure competitive commercial agreements.

* Ensuring adherence to procurement policies, procedures and industry standards

* Responsibly for the daily delivery of KPI's of Cost Quality and Delivery

* Supplier management and development in conjunction with Global Procurement and Purchasing Manager

* Helping to deliver the procurement roadmap strategy for 1, 3 and 5 years in conjunction with Purchasing Manager

* Analysis of data and trends to identify opportunities and drive decisions

* Engage and communicate with internal stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement within a Manufacturing environment

* CIP's qualified level 5

* Strong negotiation skills and contract management

* MRP experience ideally with SAP

* Experience with 'lifed' product

* Confident communicator
