Are you looking to break in financial services, or perhaps you have a 1-2 years' experience as an IFA Administrator and feel that you've hit a ceiling? My client is seeking an individual to invest in where they will be supporting the wider team, whilst my client supports their career moving forward.

My client is going under a period of growth where opportunities are naturally presenting themselves, so if you're an aspiring Paraplanner or IFA, my client is a forward thinking company that would look to support you.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Carry out administrative tasks supporting both the sales process and client review process.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via letter, email, and telephone
  • Use initiative and judgement in administering work, ensuring organisation and prioritisation of tasks.
  • Maintain high-quality client files and record-keeping.
  • Process new business applications, ensuring all documentation is correct.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post.
  • Utilise back office systems such as Intelliflo to maintain client records.
  • Understand investment platforms and read fund valuations in client portfolios.
  • Complete quarterly online training in compliance areas such as anti-money laundering and data protection.
  • Support paraplanners in preparing simple suitability reports and other documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Preferably prior experience in an IFA capacity.
  • Good keyboard skills and PC literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently to high standards.
  • Experience with back office systems, ideally Intelliflo.
  • Understanding of compliance issues related to financial services.
