We are working exclusively with our Luton based client looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger \ Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy and efficient finance department. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity starting as soon as possible.

Working as part of a supportive and efficient team, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function.

Key Responsibilities

• Matching and processing supplier invoices accurately
• Performing regular bank reconciliations
• Raising and processing supplier payments
• Undertaking supplier statement reconciliations
• Liaising with departments across the business to resolve invoice queries

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience and be comfortable working in a busy, but calm and engaging environment. You will be able to work todeadlines, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach are essential.

Remuneration & Benefits

• £29,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience)
• Full-time: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
• Office-based role
• 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service
