Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception Class

Daily Rate: GBP100 - GBP115 per day (dependent on experience)
Prospero Teaching is working closely with a lovely primary school in Lewisham, who are looking for an experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for a 1:1 support role starting in September. This is a full-time temporary position covering seven weeks, supporting a child in the l with additional needs.
The Role:
· Supporting a child in Reception on a 1:1 basis with SEN requirements.
· Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support and interventions.
· Helping the child to access the curriculum and develop key social and learning skills.
· Encouraging independence and promoting a positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:
· Has previous experience working as a 1:1 SEN TA, ideally in EYFS or Primary.
· Confident supporting children with autism, speech & language difficulties, or other complex needs.
· Patient, nurturing, and passionate about supporting SEN pupils.
· Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
· Holds a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
