Role: Facilities Operative

Hours: Monday to Friday , 8:00-16:00

Pay : £12.21 per hour + 0.50p uplift of attendance allowance bonus

Nature of the job:

The Facilities operative, Main duties will be the upkeep of the site internal and external and being responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of all site areas with the removal and disposal of waste, the tasks detailed below outline some of the daily duties that require performing however, there will be additional ad-hoc requests relating to sickness and holidays. The role also requires the operative to have a keen awareness of health and safety and safe working practices within a site of this size.

Main Duties :

Walk around the pedestrian walkways on site and remove and dispose of any waste on the ground.
Ground maintenance including Grass cutting weeding and hedge trimming
Daily use of mechanical road sweeping equipment to set routine.
Use of mechanical gardening equipment
Use of industrial cleaning equipment
Ad-hoc and miscellaneous work requested by facilities supervisor and managers
To work part of a team carrying out daily tasks effectively and within an agreed time
