This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial data, solving problems, and contributing to the efficient delivery of financial services within a professional services environment.As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting core financial processes and ensuring transactions are managed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the day-to-day administration of the contributions collection process, including monitoring clearance accounts and investigating outstanding items.
  • Setting up ad hoc payments and account transfers within the banking platform for authorisation.
  • Handling and resolving queries from both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Overseeing payments to ensure transactions are correctly allocated
  • Producing cash management reports to identify potential shortfalls
  • Supporting month-end financial activities, including preparing accruals and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting the wider Finance team with operational tasks and contributing to ongoing finance projects and improvements.
Essential:
  • Experience managing high-volume financial transactions
  • A background in transactional accounting, including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, or sales ledger activities.
  • Experience setting up UK and international payments and processing account transfers through banking systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and investigate variances.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
