Role: Field Service EngineerSalary: £32,000 - £37,500Location: Telford ** Please note, this role will require international travel** Greenfield IT are pleased to be recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of one of the UK’s leading design manufacturers based in Shropshire. As a Field Service Engineer, your will provide support to active customers, assisting with start-up installs, and working on upcoming projects. This hybrid role will involve extensive travel throughout the UK, with occasional international travel. Field Service Engineer Role Responsibilities –

• Commission new systems independently or as part of a team.
• Collaborate closely with Project Engineers on project testing and functionality.
• Provide emergency field service for customers, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Offer telephone, email, and other support to customer engineering and maintenance staff.
• Adhere to company service processes and guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional value-added services, spare parts, and upgrades.
• This role will be up to 60% travel across the uk/abroad.

Field Service Engineer Skills / Background –

• Strong technical skills, in electric fundamentals as well as computers
• PLC and HMI's experience required.
• Engineering training/qualification e.g. BTEC / HNC or apprenticeship trained.
• Valid UK driving licence.
