Lead Shift Engineer required for our client to work on a high end site in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional join an excellent business with huge growth potential. HVAP Certification required.

Lead Shift Engineer Duties

* Plan and execute Planned Maintenance on Mechanical & Electrical plant according to set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are adhered to, optimising operational effectiveness and reliability of plant, equipment, and systems.

* Hold HV & LV authorisation and prepare switching schedules, method statements, and risk assessments as required. Air Conditioning qualification or refrigeration accreditation needed.

* Develop and implement site SOPs & EOPs procedures.

* Generate detailed technical fault reports for any critical alarms or situations.

* Familiarise with newly installed plant or systems, including reviewing O&M manuals to access technical information during emergencies.

* Lead the Shift Handover process, ensuring all equipment, keys, tools, BMS, fire alarm panels, and critical plant alarms are in good working order. Ensure all logs and records are completed and signed correctly.

Lead Shift Engineer Requirements

* Positive and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to supporting the team.

* Previous experience in a Lead Technician role.

* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

* Technically focused, with strong fault diagnostic skills.

* Proficient in computer systems and written communication.

* Capable of prioritising tasks under pressure and delivering high-quality results.

* Able to adapt to changing demands and work effectively in high-pressure situations.

* Hold a valid HV or AP certification for HV/LV switching.

* Hold a valid Health & Safety certification (IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent).

* Qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering, at least to City & Guilds standard.

* 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration.

* HV authorised training and certification, or Air Conditioning accreditation, including F Gas qualification.

* Strong working knowledge of building services such as UPS, Diesel Generators, Plumbing, HVAC systems, and Refrigeration
