The GI Group are working with a well-established Business Process Outsourcing company (BPO) in Rotherham, a UK leader with 30 years success in this industry helping organisations to acquire customers, retain market share and improve operational efficiency. Their portfolio of clients include those from the banking, utility, insurance and telecommunication sectors.
Their immediate need is for a Senior Operations Manager to manage a large team within the Finance Administration division.
The opportunity
We are looking for a strong and experienced Senior Operations Manager who can ensure operational requirements and service level agreements are met, whilst maintaining quality standards and contractual requirements in accordance with their client contracts.

The role requires you to take responsibility for the retention and overall performance of a major contract for the business, and will contribute to the development of the site operations plan.

You will have experience of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and ideally a background in the Banking sector.
You will either be working currently at a senior level, or looking for your next step up - this is a challenging and high profile position, so previous experience in managing high value contracts is essential.
Your experience and knowledge:
* Experience as an operations manager or above in Document Management / Payment Processing.
* Ability to take a logical approach to problem identification, solutioning workarounds, root cause investigation and lead participation in Post Incident Reviews.
* Proven track record in exceptional service deliver and quality.
* Experienced in managing a large team of people
* Excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills
* Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload
