The successful candidate will join a Social Sciences team where Psychology is a highly popular subject at Post-16, including within the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

This role would suit a versatile educator who can inspire students across the Social Sciences and contribute to a growing curriculum, as well as support wider student wellbeing initiatives.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Psychology and Social Sciences
• Teach across Key Stages, including Post-16
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
• Support students' academic progress and personal development
• Work collaboratively within a high-achieving department

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• DBS or willing to apply for one
• Experience teaching Psychology and/or Social Sciences at secondary level (including Post-16 desirable)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Social Sciences
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
