About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to support a key stage of the Eastern Green Link (EGL) project - one of the UK's most critical energy infrastructure developments.

You'll be overseeing HV cable installation works on-site, ensuring delivery to the highest safety and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a prestigious, future-focused project contributing to the UK's energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead site operations for the HV cable installation scope

*

Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams

*

Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project specifications

*

Liaise with project engineers, planners, and client representatives

*

Maintain site documentation, reporting, and quality records

*

Drive project milestones while maintaining cost and programme targets

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager in HV (High Voltage) cable installation or similar power transmission projects

*

Strong knowledge of CDM, HSE regulations, and QA/QC processes

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills

*

SMSTS or equivalent site management certification

*

Ideally from a contractor background within the utilities or energy sector
