Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire (NG24)

Pay: £90 - £105 per day

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:15am - 3:30pm)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN)?

We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected independent SEN school in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This specialist setting supports students aged 5 to 19 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related needs, providing a caring and structured learning environment.

As the school looks ahead to the new academic year, they are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. Interviews or trial days can be arranged as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support, tailored to meet individual learning needs.
Assist in delivering engaging, well-structured lessons and learning activities.
Support emotional wellbeing and encourage social development in students.
Support positive behaviour management both inside and outside the classroom.
Promote independence and life skills through daily routines and activities.
Monitor progress and contribute to record-keeping and development tracking.

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential.
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach, with a genuine passion for making a difference.
