Sellick Partnership are offering a qualified Senior Analyst a role with a branded UK retailer that offers hybrid and collaborative working.

A UK leading retailer based in the heart of the city centre - a great opportunity for an Analyst preferably with Retail experience to shape their future career path.

Our respected client is looking for someone who is committed and driven to develop their career in Finance further and in return for your hard work, we can support you to achieve your ambition through guidance, and experience.

Duties:-

Work alongside key seniors to deliver detailed and accurate reports, financial plans and insightful analysis.
To ensure any risks and potential opportunities are outlined and embedded into future forecasts, highlighting any financial impacts that they might have.
To input data and assumptions, key driver updates into the businesses planning models for forecasts, budgets and strategic planning.
Providing reconciliation and variance analysis across different levels/areas of the business on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
To support communication between the leadership teams to aid well informed decision making ultimately aiming to improve business performance and to be able to explain this concisely.
Providing trial analysis to contribute towards key projects, including test and learn analysis.
Keeping your eye out for techniques/methods that you can contribute within the business to refine processes from the external economic market.

For the role our client needs a qualified candidate (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who can work alongside senior accountants, the quality of the accountants/seniors within this business will help raise your overall level. Experience of working within a fast-paced analytical environment, ideally, but not exclusively of working within the retail industry.

Due to the nature of the role you must be highly organised, able to manage and prioritise workload, and have strong excel skills with a comprehensive knowledge of analytical methods, practices and techniques including a hypothesis framework approach to answering questions.

A knowledge of understanding budgets and forecast is mandatory.
