Teaching Assistant - Daventry

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education journey? Do you want to make a real difference in a secondary school setting? We are currently working with inclusive and forward-thinking schools in Daventry seeking Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.

Whether you're an experienced TA or just beginning your career in education, this is a fantastic opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional learning or emotional needs.

About the Role:

Support students in and out of the classroom with learning, confidence-building, and engagement

Provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly for students with SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs

Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and resource organisation

Help promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through consistency and empathy

Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff and pastoral teams

We're Looking For:

A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with a passion for working with young people

Experience supporting children or young people in any setting (school, youth work, coaching, mentoring, etc.)

A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with students and staff

Knowledge of safeguarding, SEND, or behaviour support (training can be provided)

A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team

Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
