Community Health Centers, (CHC) is a private, non-profit organization that provides healthcare services to insured, uninsured, under-insured, and under-served children and adults within Central Florida. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) organization that began its operations in 1972 in Apopka, Florida. We now provide care to nearly 60,000 patients each year in the Apopka, Bithlo, Forest City, Lake Ellenor, Leesburg, Meadow Woods, Pine Hills, South Lake, Tavares and Winter Garden communities!

Job Summary:

Manages the full-cycle recruiting process across multiple functional groups at Community Health Centers.

Primary Responsibilities and Specific Duties:

  • Identifies exceptional, diverse candidates for open positions.

  • Develops network of recruitment sources.

  • Consults with hiring managers on recruitment and interview process.

  • Proactively identifies and implements effective sourcing and recruiting strategies.

  • Applies an in-depth understanding of the business environment, specific industry strategies, organizational structures and compensation practices.

  • Engages in timely and appropriate communications with all candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders to create a highly positive experience.

  • Conducts post interview debrief meetings to select finalists. Makes job offers, negotiates with candidates and closes offers.

  • Prepares and ensures completion of all new hire paperwork.

  • Creates and leads special staffing projects and initiatives.

  • Manages HRIS Position Control and Applicant Tracking programs.

  • Manages the Referral Bonus program.

  • Works with leaders to complete job analysis, develop job descriptions and interview questions based on positions.

  • May conduct salary surveys.

  • Participates in new hire orientation process.

  • Processes I-9 documentation. Conducts annual compliance audit on employment eligibility.

  • Facilitates Talent Selection module of Management Essentials.

  • Responsible for conducting "Stay Interviews" for new hires.

  • Coordinates Recognition programs in partnership with Human Resources Managers.

    HRIS/Intranet/Reports/Security:

  • Building and completion of reports in the HRIS system and other platforms.

  • Serve as primary or secondary partner/liaison with HRIS and technology vendors and other CHC departments on technology implementation and projects.

  • May train new HR team members on the HRIS system.

Project Management:

  • Participates in project planning, project documentation and project management as assigned.

  • Adhere to confidentiality of all employee information.

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Masters Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years experience in Human Resources, or related field required. Healthcare recruiting experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

  • HR Certification preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong candidate assessment skills with experience conducting behavioral interviews.

  • Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of Employment Law.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, applicable recruitment tools and the Internet as recruitment resources.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment.

Other requirements:
