We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA3) to join our team, working with Year 2 and Year 3 students in Ribble Valley. This part-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the educational development of young learners, starting January 2026.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily activities, ensuring they meet educational standards and are engaging for Year 2 and Year 3 students.
• Support the classroom teacher in managing class behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Help with the setup and cleanup of classroom materials and equipment.
• Provide individual support to students, aiding in their educational and social development.
• Assist in the evaluation of students' progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, resilience, and a positive approach to student development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
