Role Overview:

The Registered Manager will lead the Reablement and Independence Service, overseeing day-to-day service delivery to help individuals regain confidence, independence, and control. The role requires a strategic leader to ensure the service is safe, effective, person-centred, and compliant with CQC regulatory standards. The manager will collaborate with health and social care partners, support hospital discharges, and ensure smooth transitions into reablement services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Reablement service to drive high-quality care and compliance with CQC standards.
• Manage and support a dedicated team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care seven days a week.
• Conduct audits, performance monitoring, and service user feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Oversee safe staffing levels, governance, record keeping, and delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Provide strong leadership, supervision, and performance management to staff to maintain motivation and skill development.
• Work collaboratively with health and social care partners to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive experience in managing reablement or similar services, ideally within a regulated care setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, support, and develop a team.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and experience in maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in care delivery through performance management and service feedback.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, service users, and external partners.
