Higher Education Liaison Co-ordinator
Salary up to £20,454 per annum
Fixed-term, 37 hours per week
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who is able to engage with young people aged 16-19 to inspire them to progress to higher education. This post is funded by the National Collaborative Outreach Programme, with the objective of increasing the numbers of students from disadvantaged backgrounds to go to university or onto higher apprenticeship programmes.
As a recent graduate, you will have experience of mentoring or supporting young people and worked with them to increase their confidence, self-esteem and belief in their full potential.
You will need to be organised, self-motivated, student focused, and effective communicator and able to work on your own initiative. You should also have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent in English and Maths, and a degree or equivalent Level qualification.
Please note that as Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site, you will be required to work at and travel between campuses.
