Technical Trainee (Graduate Opportunity)

£27,000 – £30,000

As a Technical Trainee, you will support the technical team across a variety of pre-construction and development activities, including:

• Assisting with technical appraisals of prospective development sites
• Supporting cost assessments and identifying viable development solutions
• Helping ensure sites are suitable for servicing and construction
• Contributing to planning-related activities, including technical reports and liaising with external stakeholders
• Supporting document control, drawing management, and general technical administration
• Maintaining internal systems and tracking approvals
• Assisting with research into potential land opportunities

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented graduate with a genuine interest in the built environment. You will have:

• A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar)
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook; MS Project or similar is a bonus)
• An interest in planning, design, construction, and project delivery
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
