HW Finance are pleased to be working with a successful UK manufacturing business in South Yorkshire to recruit a Senior Accountant to look after the day-to-day of one of their main sites.

About the role:

This role sits within the Operational Finance function, and has ownership of one of the business’s main sites, responsible for end-to-end reporting. This is a hands-on and varied role, working closely with the Management team on site to support with decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business partner on site management team to support with strategic decision making
• Ownership of P&L for the site, including month end reporting, annual budgets and forecasting processes
• Identify risks and opportunities through financial analysis to achieve business unit targets
• Involved in costing initiatives and providing relevant analysis
• Performance reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
• Become a clear right hand person for the operational team

About You:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Hands-on end to end reporting experience
• Strong business partner, and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Commercial mindset to support strategic decision making
• Manufacturing/industrial experience
