Job Description

 Mission Critical Marketing Manager


Mission Critical, a manufacturer of baby gear for dads, is looking for a friendly, highly motivated, experienced marketer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing how the brand is presented across all marketing channels. They’ll also manage deploying the brand’s marketing budget to achieve sales goals. This individual is technically savvy, experienced with eCommerce, laughs a lot, and is passionate about growing brands. The role requires both a creative mindset and an analytical ability to ensure we create a deep connection with our customers and achieve our growth objectives.


  • Develop and execute tactical plan to support overall brand strategy

  • Oversee advertising budget and work with advertising partners to achieve efficient customer acquisition

  • Create and execute unique customer experiences online and offline

  • Work with senior staff to direct branding efforts

  • Plan and execute brand promotional calendar

  • Manage brand voice across all communication channels

  • Over see content development and distribution across all channels

  • Manage existing and cultivate new influencer relationships

  • Discover PR opportunities for the brand

  • Manage customer interactions on social media platforms

  • Assess all PR/Influencer/Sponsorships opportunities that come through email

  • Facilitate influencer outreach and relationship building

  • Work closely with Customer Service to make sure brand voice is consistent across all platforms

  • Manage all social media platforms and marketing materials to ensure they all follow brand strategy and brand voice

  • Cultivate customer generated content


  • Have 5-8+ years of marketing experience

  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels

  • Clear communicator

  • Ability to think creatively

  • Budget-management skills and proficiency

  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in eCommerce customer acquisition

  • Highly organized and detail oriented with exceptional sense of accountability

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to problem solve within scope of responsibility

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Must have positive attitude with a growth mindset


Compensation TBD based on experience.
