Our client is one of the world's largest leading manufacturers, they have a presence in all the leading supermarkets in the UK and are expanding.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

You will be part of a skilled team supporting a diverse range of mechanical systems across a fast-paced manufacturing site. You'll perform both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Perform mechanical maintenance on production and utility equipment (pumps, fillers, pneumatics, HVAC, etc.)

Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in line with safety and quality standards

Use CMMS to manage maintenance tasks and record work

Support lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, AM) and root cause investigations

Mentor junior technicians and collaborate across departments

Maintain compliance with health & safety and LOTO procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

Recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, City & Guilds)

Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance

Knowledge of welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, or rotating machinery (advantageous)

Familiar with CMMS and condition-based monitoring systems

Proactive, hands-on, and team-oriented
