Warehouse Team Leader - Kirkbymoorside

Hours: 37 per week | Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4:30pm, Fri 8:30am-4:00pm

A global manufacturing business based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.

The Role: You'll be leading the Warehouse and Distribution team, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate handling, storage, and movement of inventory. This is a key role focused on improving processes, managing a small team, and ensuring stock control is maintained to a high standard using an MRP system.

Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day leadership of the warehouse and logistics function
Ensuring timely and accurate inventory control and stock transactions
Managing goods in/out, stock checks, and transport coordination
Driving continuous improvement within warehouse operations
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
Generating and analysing reports using KPIs
Supporting cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and salesRequirements:
3+ years' experience in a leadership or team management role
5+ years' experience in a stores or warehouse setting
Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (ideally SME)
Hands-on knowledge of stores handling equipment and MRP systems
Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
Full UK driving licenceBenefits:
