CNC Machinist

Do you have experience in CNC and looking for a new career? Randstad Engineering are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to work for a global manufacturer for various industries.

The postion is paying £14 per hour on a temp to permanent basis. The shifts are 06:00am - 14:30pm Monday to Thursday and 06:00am - 11:00am Friday.


To be able to manufacture components from engineering drawings to ISO 9000/2000 standards using various 3,4 & 5 axis machines.


Manufacture components from engineering drawings in various materials
Maintain tolerances using various types of measuring equipment
Ability to work out new set up's as and when required (with the introduction of new products)
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Ability to load and set jobs onto m\c table
Operate overhead crane in a safe manner
Support Lean principlesExperience Needed

Experience of working within an engineering environment
Ability to work unaided and within a team working environment
Able to demonstrate principles behind planning new methods of setting and Machining in the instance of new product introduction
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Understand principles of cutting data (Speeds & Feeds)
CNC programing knowledge a must. (fanuc Control)
Experience of Horizontal & vertical machining centres.
