Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Autism)
Location: Chiswick, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only (Fixed-Term, with potential to extend)

A warm and inclusive primary school in Chiswick is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with autism, starting in September 2025.

This is a full-time, term-time only position ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in the early stages of education.

The Role:

Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with autism within the classroom setting

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to implement support strategies

Foster the child's communication, engagement and emotional well-being

Support social interaction and help the child access all aspects of the curriculum

We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with autism or additional needs (preferred)

A calm, patient and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
