Streamline Recruitment are working in partnership a well-established logistics business based in Thurrock looking to recruit a Project Operator / Assistant to support their high and heavy load division.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding or international shipping, looking to take on more responsibility and project involvement.

What you'll be doing:

* Arranging ocean freight with overseas agents and internal teams

* Managing and checking required documentation for shipments

* Keeping internal systems up to date with cargo and project progress

* Liaising with the warehouse on goods arriving/departing

* Supporting with admin tasks and occasional quality checking (light lifting involved)

* Attending occasional site visits or exhibitions

What you'll need:

* 1-2 years' experience in ocean freight (LCL/FCL) and transport coordination

* Familiarity with customs documentation and clearance requirements

* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

* Comfortable using Outlook and Excel for admin and communication

* Clear communication style and attention to detail

Location: Thurrock (office-based, with occasional travel)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
Salary: £25,500 starting salary
