SALARY: £20000 - £25000/annum

We are looking for someone to undertake a range of supply chain and administration functions for a Royston based company to ultimately ensure that products are assembled, tested and shipped worldwide on time and without shortages. You will need to be extremely conscientious in your attitude, reflected in your appreciation of cost, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

* Assist the Operations Team with general administration duties including updating planning and build work instructions, resolving Build Partner material issues, kitting and job expediting, collect and deliver post and creation of Kanban cards.
* Support Operations management through creation and maintenance of KPIs using Excel
* Be Co-ordinator of the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process within manufacturing
* Analysis work via Excel and implementing new or updated processes (this may include hands on work with components) to include some analysis and presentation of data therefore requires pivot table use
* Generate the SCM monthly metrics required for planning, purchasing and supplier performance (Both quality and on time deliver)

Requirements

* GCSE / AS / A Level Mathematics
* Macro level MS Excel
* Previous user experience of an MRP II or ERP control system
* Strong user of PCs and software packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
* Ability to analyse and publish data in MS Excel
* ERP User
* Organisational skills
* Effective problem-solving skills
* Health and Safety awareness
* Analytical / numerate
* Computer literate - Daily user of Excel, Outlook
* Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
* Good judgement (cost vs benefit vs risk)
* Interpersonal skills
