Summary:
Compass Associates are delighted to have partnered exclusively with a growing specialist mental health service provider who operate community outreach, complex care, supported living and residential services in Sussex and neighbouring counties contracting with Foundation Trusts, ICBs and Local Authorities, providing a rehabilitation pathway to enable people to progress to independence. One of just a few who deliver a genuine pathway for people they support. We are working in partnership to recruit a Director of Operations to join the Senior Management team.

Reporting into the Managing Director you will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the operations for organisation, with a focus to assist the company in their aspirations to develop. The provider have built a strong company culture and ethos and are looking for the successful candidate to maintain enhance and develop this.

Candidate Criteria:
- We are looking for an experienced senior leader with a background in one or multiple of the following sectors: Mental Health (Community or inpatient), Residential and Supported Living, Learning Disability/Autism, Community Outreach or Complex Care.
- The ideal candidate will have evidence of developing and commissioning services
- A key understanding of financial and budgetary control and management is desirable
- A desirable clinical qualification in Mental Health is preferred but not essential.
- The candidate should have experience operating at a senior level in a regulated environment.
- A strong understanding of recruitment is required, as the candidate will play a key role in recruitment strategy and delivery
- Positive, proactive and hands-on candidate to fit into company ethos

Benefits:
Salary up to £80,000 + Great Benefits

25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

Location:
This is predominantly an office based role, with plans to move across neighbouring counties. Therefore the role will be commutable from Worthing, Littlehampton, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Surrey, Guildford, Farnham, Hampshire, Chichester, Eastbourne, Crawley, Horsham, as well as most of East & West Sussex.

Interview Process:
First stage informal conversation with the Hiring Manager (Managing Director), followed by a formal face to face interview with a presentation.
