English Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week)

What’s on Offer?

• Role: English Teacher for KS3 & KS4
• Schedule: Full-time (5 days per week) – 4 days teaching English, 1 day providing general cover
• Start Date: ASAP or January
• Contract: Ongoing

About the Role:You will deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong literacy and analytical skills. In addition to your English teaching responsibilities, you’ll provide general classroom cover one day per week, offering variety and the chance to work across different subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet curriculum standards
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support the wider school community through general cover duties

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire students
